About Your Visit

Appointments

Front Desk Team Member at SWM OrthoTo schedule an appointment, please call our office at (269) 428-3500. Our team will be happy to assist you in finding a time that works for you.

If you are unable to keep your appointment, we kindly ask that you notify us as soon as possible. This allows us to offer that time to another patient in need of care.

We make every effort to stay on schedule. However, unforeseen emergencies or hospital surgeries may occasionally cause delays. We truly appreciate your understanding and patience if this occurs.

Fees & Payments

We are committed to providing high-quality care while helping manage healthcare costs whenever possible. Payment arrangements for office services are expected at the time of your visit, unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

For your convenience, we accept:

  • Cash

  • Checks

  • MasterCard

  • Visa

If we are a participating provider with your insurance company, we will submit claims on your behalf. Please note that payment ultimately remains the patient’s responsibility. Our team is always available to assist you with questions regarding your insurance benefits or claims.

Prescriptions & Medication Renewals

To ensure accurate and timely service, please request all prescriptions and medication renewals during regular office hours when our full medical records are available.

We require at least 48 hours’ notice for all medication refill requests. This allows our providers adequate time to review your chart and process your request safely.

Refill requests made outside of normal business hours will only be addressed in urgent or emergent situations.

If you have questions about your medications, our team is happy to assist you during office hours.

Preparing for Your Appointment

If you are a new patient, please plan to arrive a little early to allow time to complete registration paperwork.

To help us provide the best possible care, please bring:

  • Driver’s license or state-issued ID

  • Referral (if required by your insurance plan)

  • Current insurance card/information

  • Copies of operative reports, medical records, X-rays, MRIs, or CT scans from previous providers (if applicable)

  • A complete list of current medications

  • A list of any known allergies

Having this information at your visit helps ensure a smooth check-in process and allows our providers to focus on your care.
